Key Responsibilities:
- Email List Management:
- Manage and maintain marketing email lists, ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Segment email lists based on demographics, behavior, and other criteria to optimize campaign performance.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve email marketing strategies.
- Reporting:
- Create and deliver regular reports to internal teams and clients, summarizing campaign performance and data-driven insights.
- Develop dashboards for real-time tracking of email marketing metrics.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, editorial, and client services teams to align email campaigns with business objectives.
- Support the creative team by providing data insights to inform content and design decisions.
- Technical Support:
- Maintain and troubleshoot email marketing software and tools.
- Collaborate with IT or external vendors to ensure smooth integration of email platforms with other systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in email marketing or digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- 3+ years of experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based databases.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Iterable, HubSpot, Marketo).
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the publishing industry.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
