About the Role
The Email Specialist will develop, execute and analyze email marketing campaigns to achieve business goals by crafting targeted content, managing email lists, utilizing automation tools, and tracking key metrics like open rates and click-through rates to optimize email strategies and drive HCP engagement. This will include email content curation, email scheduling, list segmentation, email delivery and performance analysis to drive conversions.
We are seeking a data-driven professional with a passion for email marketing, a keen eye for detail and an understanding of HCP audiences and, ideally, experience working in Iterable. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record building and executing successful email engagement campaigns, exceptional prioritization and multitasking abilities, and a proactive, "can-do" attitude. Success in this role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously and thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
This role will be report to the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager supporting the execution of engagement, retention, and monetization flows. This includes touchpoints in relation to re-engagement, activation, onboarding, and identifying opportunities to test new customer flows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing our customer engagement platform, Iterable, develop and execute end-to-end HCP marketing journeys that drive and increase in engagement from conceptualization to delivery and analysis.
  • Create engaging and compelling email content that resonates with the HCP audience, including engaging copy, appealing visuals and persuasive calls to action.
  • Segment and manage lists, ensuring accurate targeting and messaging based on specialty and campaign goals.
  • Identifying opportunities for email optimization and implementing A/B testing to analyze performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness and engagement rates.
  • Monitor and study email campaign key performance indicators (KPIs), such as email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions and ROI.
  • Stay updated with the industry trends and the best practices in email marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Work with editorial to ensure optimal content is produced for eNewsletters based on analytics.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of email marketing experience
Skills You'll Have:
  • Healthcare Professional marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Ensure high email deliverability by managing sender reputation and compliance with email regulations
  • Outstanding copywriting and editing skills to craft engaging email content
  • Familiarity with CRM integration systems and customer segmentation
  • Understanding of email deliverability and reputation management
  • Stay updated with the industry trends and the best practices in email marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Detail oriented and highly organized multitasker
  • Industry experience working with organizations in the Publishing, Media, Health Care or Pharmaceutical areas is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly communicate project needs to internal and external teams
  • Project management software experience is preferred (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Basecamp, MS Project, Monday, etc.)
