We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. This is a fully remote position, with the flexibility to work from our NJ-based office if needed.

Responsibilities:

The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in our financial operations, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Developing a company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows and methods
  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
