Role Overview

Formedics, a leading medical news service and custom healthcare publishing company for Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and Consumers, is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst to become a vital and valued member of our Basking Ridge, NJ based data team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Email List Management:
    • Manage and maintain marketing email lists, ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
    • Segment email lists based on demographics, behavior, and other criteria to optimize campaign performance.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve email marketing strategies.
  • Reporting:
    • Create and deliver regular reports to internal teams and clients, summarizing campaign performance and data-driven insights.
    • Develop dashboards for real-time tracking of email marketing metrics.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, editorial, and client services teams to align email campaigns with business objectives.
    • Support the creative team by providing data insights to inform content and design decisions.
  • Technical Support:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot email marketing software and tools.
    • Collaborate with IT or external vendors to ensure smooth integration of email platforms with other systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in email marketing or digital campaigns.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
  • 3+ years of experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based databases.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Iterable, HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the publishing industry.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
